Frank Wobith is a proven expert in the field of aviation and aviation safety. The experienced aviation specialist is currently CEO at acona, a company specializing in aviation safety and compliance. Previously, he held a senior position as Safety & Compliance Manager in Zurich, where he played a key role in the development and implementation of safety and quality systems in the field of business aviation.


In addition to his many years of operational experience, he also has extensive professional qualifications. He is an accredited Safety & Compliance Manager for Flight Operations and CAMO (Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation) in Switzerland, as well as a certified European Quality Manager (DGQ). In addition, he holds an active pilot license for the Boeing 747-400 and 747-8i, which underscores his operational expertise.


A particular milestone in his career was his co-responsibility for Premium Jet's ARGUS Platinum certification in 2017 – a highly regarded safety standard in the international business charter sector. This made the company the first in Switzerland to receive this award. In this context, Wobith emphasized the importance of the rating as a visible sign of the highest safety and quality standards. In addition, he has many years of experience with IOSA and wet lease audits, as well as the ability to enter into wet leases with audited airlines.


In addition to his work as a consultant, Frank Wobith is also involved in international industry dialogue. He is an active member of the EBAA Safety Committee and founder of BASS (Business Aviation Safety Switzerland).


His focus is on the introduction, further development, and auditing of safety management systems (SMS), emergency plans, compliance monitoring, and safety culture within aviation companies. In doing so, he supports both operators and authorities in the strategic realignment and quality assurance of their safety-related processes.
